Shreveport-Bossier City, La. - The exciting Bassmasters Classic was held February 20-23 in Shreveport Louisiana. The Bassmasters Classic expo was again a huge success with giant screens showing the weigh in from the Red River to autograph sessions with the big names in the industry.

The Classic was truly an event that shoud not be missed by any. We at Black Dog Baits were fortunate to experience this first hand. We also brought along some product for the fantastic Southern crowd to experience. ” Big Baits”.  Black Dog Baits released the new VagaBond Surf Hustler along with the new injected G2 Lunker Punkers in some of the finest custom colors. The crowd from all over the United States came to our booth to see the handsomely painted baits and were in awe at the size of these big swimmers which are not readily available in their local shops. It was great to visit with everyone who has watched us grow.

We shook alot of hands of other manufacturers in the industry who have used our baits with great success. It certainly is a great feeling. While mingling with customers from the southern states and speaking with the media from numerous outdoor magazines and online sites. Black Dog had a chance to visit with some big names and legends in the ever growing sport of bass fishing! We met with Forrest L. Wood, Ray Scott, Gerald Swindle, Brent Chapman, and others. Black Dog brought back some great shots with some of these great people.  We hope you enjoy some of the photos we snaped with some of these celebrity outdoor legends.  We look forward to next years Classic in Birmingham Alabama.
