While growing up in San Mateo, CA I spent a lot of time learning how to fish many of the south bay lakes, Anderson, Calero, and Coyote. I have fished in many tournament circuits such as, Bassmaster, FLW, US Open, and Angler’s Choice since the age of 16. In 2006 I was on the cover of Bass West, and had a featured article written about me titled “Young Guns”. In the last couple years I have turned my attention to guiding rather than tournament fishing. I now live in San Bruno, and spend a considerable amount of time fishing Clear Lake. Cutting back on tournament fishing has allowed me to spend a lot of time to experiment with different swimbaits. Last year I spent over 100 days at Clear Lake. I caught more 8 lb + fish in one year than I have in the previous 4 years put together. I look forward to helping people learn and understand different swimbait techniques in the years ahead.
